THE RULES OF TAKING PART.
By browsing this site, submitting an application or attending the programme, you agree to the terms set out below. Please read them before you register.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
These terms form an agreement between you and the network secretariat. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site or submit an application. Where you register on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS
Applications must be made by a real person using accurate, current information. You are responsible for anything done using your credentials.
- Provide a valid identity, employer and contact details.
- Keep your login and pass details confidential and do not transfer them.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account or pass has been misused.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use the site or the programme in ways that harm others.
- Do not try to bypass security or disrupt the site or its infrastructure.
- Do not apply in false identity, or use automated systems to register.
- Do not impersonate or harass other participants, staff or another delegate.
- Do not scrape, distribute or copy material on the site or at programme venues.
REGISTRATION AND PASSES
A registration is confirmed only when payment has cleared and we have issued written confirmation. Passes are personal, non-transferable and remain our property; they may be withdrawn where these terms are breached or where accreditation criteria are no longer met.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The site, its text, layout, marks and downloadable materials belong to PWDAN or its licensors. You may quote and report on programme content with attribution; you may not republish materials wholesale, resell them, or present them as your own. Where you submit content to us — such as writing samples or speaker materials — you keep ownership and grant us a licence to use it for reviewing your application and running the programme.
DISCLAIMERS AND LIABILITY
The site and programme information are provided on an as-is basis. Scheduling, speakers and sessions may change. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or travel costs incurred related to access to the programme changes.
CHANGES AND GOVERNING LAW
We may update these terms; the version published here is the one in force, and material changes are highlighted with a revised date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Lagos State.
NEED CLARIFICATION ON A CLAUSE?
Our legal desk can walk you through how these terms apply to your registration.
